Custom-made products

Where are your custom-made garments produced?

We produce all custom-made products in facilities owned and operated by us on Sri Lanka. All personnel is employed by us and we therefore have full overview of working conditions, salaries, environmental conditions etc. As a consequence, we can guarantee that all production processes are carried out under fair and well-managed conditions.

Where do your fabrics come from?

We are primarily buying our fabrics from Morarjee Textiles, Brandix, Ashima, Liberty Arts and Oceanlanka all of which are internationally well recognized companies and leading suppliers of fabrics for shirts, knitwear and bottoms.

How do I purchase a gift certificate?

Click on the Accessories menu on top and select gift certificate. Choose either one of the values already or decide for an individual one for your gift voucher. To use a gift certificate, enter the code written on the certificate at the checkout. Through clicking "OK", the discount will automatically be deducted from your order value irrespective if the value of your order is higher than the value of your gift certificate.

Why are there price differences between two items of the same product category (i.e. two shirts)?

The price of a garment is affected by the choice of fabric (in the case of dress shirts) and various other design options such as contrast fabrics, embroidery etc.
For polo piqués and chinos as well as shorts, the price depends only on the options you choose when designing, not the fabric.

Where is the cotton for your fabrics grown?

We do not have detailed information regarding the origin of the cotton, but we primarily buy fabrics from Arvind Mills and Morarjee Textiles who both have several environmental and quality certificates.

What are the shipping costs?

Regardless of the number of shirts or other products in your order, the final shipping costs will never exceed the cost of sending just one shirt.

How do I order more than one product in one and the same order?

After adding one item to your shopping cart, you simply choose the option "Design another" or "Goto start page" to be able to continue filling your shopping cart. You can also copy a shirt or polo piqué design from the cart to alter it into a new design. When you are done, just click on the checkout button to proceed with payment.

Will my measurement profiles be saved for future orders?

Yes, your complete profile will be stored until you choose to delete or alter it. When placing your next order, you simply design your new item and add the previously saved profile with your individual measurements.

What do the different washing instruction symbols mean?

Click on "Our fabrics" to find a link to the washing advice.

Will my clothes shrink and if so, how much?

Our fabrics are sanforized or pre-washed to reduce shrinkage to a minimum, but cotton fabrics may still shrink a little bit. We adjust for shrinkage regarding to the choice of a particular fabric made by you when ordering shirts. This implies that the shirt will be slightly larger before the first wash and will first match the final measurements provided by you afterwards. Our polo piqués are washed after production to shrink to the final measurements prior to delivery.

Do you offer easy care/iron free shirts?

Several of our fabrics are treated in a way that makes them easy-care. You can find more detailed information about all fabrics in the section "Our fabrics". In general, please avoid tumble-drying and leave the shirt to dry on a hanger instead which will also reduce the effort of ironing.

Where can I learn more about the different fabrics?

Click on the small magnifying glass in the shirt designer or use the filter in the section "Our fabrics" to get even more detailed information about the fabrics. You can also order fabric samples by clicking on the red scissor symbol next to a fabric to add a swatch to the sample book in your shopping cart.

Do you make custom-made garments for ladies as well?

Our dress shirts and polo piqués are also available for women and the fit can be chosen in the first step in our shirt designer.

Can I get an embroidery/my initials on my dress shirts/polo piqués/chinos?

We offer embroideries for dress shirts, polo piqués as well as chinos. This option can be found in the different designers at an extra cost. Click on the question mark buttons next to each choice for more detailed information.

Can I order a shirt with short sleeves?

Yes, you select short sleeve as your third option under step 1. You enter the sleeve length as per your own measurement later on in the measurements guide.

Which fit should I choose?

When choosing a fit, your comfort is the most important factor to take into consideration.

For shirts:
Our Slim fit model is accurately cut to match your body without unwanted excess fabric. Please note that we of course add movement room to your shirt when producing it.

If you want a little more movement room in your shirt we recommend our Normal fit. This is also cut to match your figure, but leaves a little more ease for you to move. A comfortable fit while still being formal.

For casual occasions or if you are a big person, try our Loose fit. This is a straight cut, leaving much more movement room in your shirt. As this fit leaves quite a bit of extra fabric on the shirt, it is not recommended for formal occasions

For polo piqués:
Normal fit is very comfortable with ample room for movement.
Slim fit is tighter and cut to follow your body shape closer
