...the characteristics of the cotton fibre makes it perfectly suited for the spinning of yarn and for the weaving of high quality fabrics. The build up of the fibre gives it high tear strength, high resistance to wear and tear and low elasticity. The fibre is compact which in turn gives it low isolation properties. Consequently clothing made out of cotton feels comfortably cool.
