Did you know that...
The "four-in-hand" knot is not only easy to learn, but also propably one of the most versatile tie knots as it goes just as well with a button-down shirt as with a straight classical collar. Moreover, it allows for that stylish dimple just below the knot that makes all the difference between wearing a neck tie and wearing it with style. The ?four-in-hand-knot? dates back to the 18th century when the coachmen in London used it to wrap their scarf around the neck with only one hand while steering their carrige with four horses with the other. It is one of the most classical, practical and yet fashionable tie knots of them all.
